Piles of garments cover the floor, and the performer stands against a projection of moving water. Layer after layer of clothing transforms the body into a heavy figure, a visible weight that hides the person beneath.
These layers represent persona, the many roles and identities that society and the digital age place on us. By gradually removing the clothes, the performer enacts a ritual, turning simple physical actions into a symbolic process of peeling away what is false.
The moment of unveiling does not suggest pure freedom but an honest encounter. The work asks us to consider how much of who we are comes from these external layers, and what might appear once they are shed.
