In line with our vision to make contemporary art more accessible through thoughtful curatorial framing and interactive presentation, Instructions invites artists to explore the unseen influences that shape our thoughts, behaviors, relationships, and everyday experiences.
"Instructions are everywhere, but they are not always spoken or written. They can exist in a gesture, a moment of silence, a familiar routine, or the way we interact with our surroundings. Often, we follow expectations without knowing where they came from or why we have learned to accept them. Shaped by personal experiences, social relationships, and cultural conventions, these unspoken instructions influence how we think, act, and understand the world around us.
Instructions explores how these invisible forms of guidance are formed, followed, questioned, or transformed. Who gives an instruction when no one is speaking? What happens when we misunderstand, resist, or reinterpret the rules we have learned to follow? The exhibition welcomes diverse artistic perspectives on the relationship between individual choice and external influence, habit and change, and the ways we navigate expectations, whether imposed by others or created by ourselves."
