Liquid Memory
Single-channel video, 1920 × 1080, Duration 13’41”, 2025

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN4HTQsmRug
The performance takes place in dim light. A hooded figure briefly lit by a torch, ice melting on skin, flames flickering, and blocks of ice placed on unfinished concrete floors. Slow motion alternates with rapid cuts, giving the scene a sense of tension.

These moments suggest dissolution, not only of ice and fire but of fixed images of the self. The work points to a fluid self that shifts under heat and light, fragile yet always present. Set inside an abandoned structure, the performance shows how labels, like ruins, eventually lose their hold.
Masks dissolve in liquid light. Burning petals reassemble into pupils; microbes trace memory with light. This is not performance but the collective emergence of the fluid self beneath the mask. When gaze alters imagery and breath affects projection, we finally remove all labels, connecting through trembling warmth.
